About Big Mayor Audio & Entertainment

THE STUDIO:

Starting with the original inspiration for the company, it all began in 2016 with a simple demoing studio for my band Heart of Insanity. After a few recording pitfalls, I realized that I enjoyed recording music and wanted to make it a more central point of my life. Following the passing of my father, I decided to attend college in pursuit of a degree in Recording Technology. While taking classes, it became apparent to me that I would rather own and build my own studio, instead of working for one that was already established. Thus, the studio was born.

LIVE SOUND:

I started working in live sound as the sound engineer for the vocal jazz ensemble Shades of Blue. I’ve done a little bit of live audio work for friends and DJ’s, and I rather enjoy it. It’s a skill I’m hoping to expand on and wanted to offer it as apart of the BIG MAYOR services.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT:

First and foremost, I’m a musician, well, a drummer, but who’s counting? I’ve been in a handful of bands and musical projects, and I have a lot of friends in bands, so I’ve decided to offer the possibility of hiring live entertainment to anyone in need of it. I am presently adding to the list of possible live entertainment as you’re reading this!

THE NAME:

In the beginning, when I was first planning out the company, coming up with a name was nearly impossible, I had gone through many possible names, none of them quite sticking out to me. But what started out as a throwaway line in a youtube cult known as [REDACTED], soon became the inspiration for the name of my musical project known as BIG MAYOR ENERGY, a musical journey that you’ll have to experience for yourself. Soon after the formation of the music project, I realized that I wanted to center my brand around that line. And that brings us to what I have now:
